SECRETS YOU NEVER KNEW ABOUT STOCK MARKET INVESTING AND TRADING | SWAMINATHAN ANNAMALAI
"Acceptance is the first step to self-development. The problem with many people is that they know what they do is wrong, but they don't want to accept it, which restricts development."
- Swaminathan Annamalai
This week I added a new book to my collection to enlarge my view of the stock market and to know more about it. This was my second book on the topic and it seems that I have started showing a quirky interest in it. It's better to dig deep into the know-how of the stock market than to lose money after blindly investing in it.
Moving on, there were several new concepts I came to know in it. The author has made sure to keep the book as interesting as possible. He has tried his best to give the book, the most simplistic approach for beginners. Yet, I found the language to be a little bookish as there were certain topics that went out of the top.
Stock Market is itself a complex subject, and it's necessary to use simple language. The author should have used more examples, charts, tables while presenting the information. Visuals usually help understand things better. He could have used his experiences while identifying multi-baggers. All these attract the reader's attention and make the content interesting. There's nothing like you need to add an extra chapter for such things.
The author could have focussed more on presenting the information and organizing it.
I liked the idea of defining certain keywords at the end. It could have been used more often and could be arranged alphabetically to make things simpler (a glossary).
SUMMING UP, WHO SHOULD READ THIS?
Anybody who is starting his journey into the stock market can give it a try. But, make sure you already read a few basic books, this will help you understand the concepts better.
As always, try to read it more than once, and jot down the key ideas, to help retain information.
It's available in both Hindi and English. Feel like reading it, grab your copy by hitting the button below.
